Malawi Olympic Committee with support from the Olympic Solidarity, has organized a six days symposium to educate participants from Athletes Commission and selected Athletes and Coaches from National Sports Federations. The workshop will touch base the following areas: Harassment and Abuse in Sports, Doping and Covid-19 and at the end of the workshop the Athletes and officials safeguarding policy will be formulated.
The symposium which will run from 25-30 August, 2020 has 33 participants drawn from sport associations across the country.
This symposium is being facilitated by Honorable Jappie Mhango, Osbourne Banda and Yona Walesi, it is being held at Malawi Olympic Committee offices and Kamuzu Institute for Sports
