The Malawi Olympic Committee (MOC) has today donated assorted relief items to Tropical Cyclone Freddy flood victims in Chiradzulu District.
Captain John Kaputa (Rtd) the Secretary General for MOC, said they put together this initiative to help the survivors which is part of MOC’s core value of “People’s Welfare” under the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan.
They distributed relief items to affected flood Survivors at Nguludi Girls Primary school camp in Chiradzulu. The Items distributed include, Bales of blankets, Bales of clothing, Bales Soya pieces, Bales of Sugar and Bags of Maize flour
Tropical Cyclone Freddy has displaced thousands of people. Malawi Olympic Committee is therefore appealing to all its Affiliates and other well wishes to follow suit.
