“For every sporting activity to develop, there is need for every discipline into the sport beyond coaches, refereeing and umpiring, If the country’s sporting events are to grow we need to have sports managers who understands the Games well. They have to be well conversant with their disciplines because the issue is not about having the coach, a referee or an umpire, we have sports managers to look into the affairs broadly to develop sports in the country and beyond”.

Said Mhango

The President also appealed to the participants to go for Advanced Sports Management Course and enroll in Degree Programmes at Mzuzu University which is set to introduce the faculty in April this year.
