Malawi Olympic Committee today 23 June, 2023 celebrate the Olympic Day in Lilongwe at Malawi Olympafrica Centre.
To commemorate the day, MOC organized several sporting activities which included Aerobics, Egg Race, Sack Race, Baseball5 and Teqball that spiced up the Day.
Olympic Day is a global Celebration of the founding of the Olympic Movement by Pierre de Coubertin in 1894.
The theme of this year’s Olympic Day is ‘Let’s Move’ which aims to inspire people around the world to make time for daily physical activity, Everywhere, Everyday.
The event attracted students, teachers and general public from different areas within Lilongwe. This event was supported by Olympic Solidarity including our local partners Essential Tours and Travels aswell as Chiwemi Investments.
